You did not state that it would show and we would not have a choice when we filled it out. I thought it was only a way for you to help find the right person for us, and not that everyone would be able to see it. Your search features are lousy. I would like very much to be able to search for a man within 50 miles who is in my age range.
Why can't I do that? The men that you put on my recommendation list almost never even live in my city, which was a specification I provided. Most of them are from other cities and some of them are even from other states! What a waste of time. I used this app for almost a year and after dealing with way to many guys looking for one think or fake scammers looking for money I deleted my account.
A few days ago I decided I wanted to try this app again. So I made my profile added my pictures and finished my chemistry test that it makes you do.
I messaged a few guys I thought seemed interesting but when I went to my section that tells me who I have sent messages to it told me I had not sent any messages at all and then made me log in again only to tell me there was no account found. Then I realized they had deleted my account which I had no idea why because I had never broken any of there rules on the site and had in fact reported quite a few fake profiles the first time I was on there.
So I decide to try again with my secondary email address to see if the issue was maybe with my email where I had had a account before. Within 30 minutes the same thing had happen to my new profile with the different email.
I then emailed them to see what was going on and have never heard back from them at all and that email was sent 3 days ago. I find that to not be very great customer service. It makes me sad to have to do this but when I app deleted real users for no reason I have to stop using it. I have been an on and off member for a while now of Plenty of fish on a friends recommendation.
So I gave it a go not knowing what a mess I was walking into. It did give some recommendations near where I was but the digging I had to go through to find them was cruel. Then when you match someone and it could be a person!

The online dating site Plenty of Fish wants users to put their best — and unfiltered — face forward. In a blog post on Tuesday, the site announced that it was "implementing a face filter ban across the platform" and would begin to remove photos that feature them after a poll found that 75 percent of single people said the use of filters "heavily altered someone's appearance to be deceptive. According to Plenty of Fish, which surveyed 2, single people in the United States for the poll, 25 percent said they believe potential dates are "pretending to be someone they're not" when they post a photo on their profile with a face filter. The worst offender was the dog filter, which gives users floppy dog ears on the top of their head, a dog nose, and a wagging tongue when the person opens their mouth. The filter was made popular by Snapchat and Instagram. According to the poll, 22 percent of people said they dislike the filter being used in a dating profile photo. Other filters those surveyed don't care for are the bunny filter, the fake glasses, the flower crown and the deer filter. Face filters are arguably more popular among women, but a spokesperson for Plenty of Fish told NBC News in a statement on Wednesday that 53 percent of single females surveyed in the poll said the filters should be prohibited.
